Bowen Terapy

Although it treats the causes instead of the symptoms, thus having long-lasting or definitive results, Bowen therapy has repeatedly shown that it can have profound and permanent results in relief and pain relief. By working with us, we help the body identify its problems and cure them.

The benefits of the Bowen technique among children are many. One of the main features of scesta is that it is a natural, non-invasive therapy being accepted by children very easily, with an immediate and long-lasting effect.
This therapy works from the inside out and eliminates trauma, fears, anxiety where appropriate.
Bowen therapy can be applied with excellent results among children and adolescents for: colds, viruses, tracheobronchitis, pneumonia, allergies, asthma, autism, ADD / ADHD, colic, hip dysplasia, growth deficit, preoperative training, post-operative recovery, motor, speech, enuresis, paralysis, diabetes, kidney dysfunction, stress, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, etc.
One treatment is to apply light movements, performed with the fingers, on the muscles, tendons, ligaments and connective tissue, either directly on the skin or over light clothing.
Between the specific sequences of movements there is a few minutes of pause, during which the body processes the impulses triggered by the Bowen movements and initiates the healing process.
The treatment is usually applied once a week.
The number of sessions required varies from person to person, depending on the stage of the condition (acute or chronic), other associated diseases, the patient's age or simply the unique way of each person reacting to this therapy.
The duration of a session varies between 40 minutes and one hour, depending on the type of procedures applied in the respective session and is applied at least 7 days apart.
