PARTICIPATION IN THE INTERNATIONAL LASER THERAPY CONGRESS – GERMANY, JUNE 2025

Between June 12–14, 2025, Bogdan Prajisteanu and Manuela Udrea participated in a prestigious congress held in Germany, dedicated to medical laser therapy. The event brought together specialists from around the world interested in the therapeutic applications of laser technology in modern medicine and offered a valuable platform for presenting the latest research and innovations in the field.

The congress combined scientific sessions with interactive discussions and practical workshops, giving participants the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and engage directly with international experts.

This experience represented an important opportunity for Bogdan Prajisteanu and Manuela Udrea to advance their professional development and strengthen connections within the global medical laser therapy community.

A Comprehensive Event on Medical Laser Therapy

Bogdan Prajisteanu and Manuela Udrea took part in a complex event focused on medical laser therapy, held in Germany, which included both a hands-on workshop and a high-level international scientific congress.

Practical Workshop: Laser Applications in Musculoskeletal Disorders

The first part of the event was an intensive workshop focused on the practical applications of laser therapy. Under the guidance of international trainers, participants worked directly with state-of-the-art equipment and gained deeper insights into:

▪️ Techniques for treating musculoskeletal disorders with laser therapy

▪️ Modern clinical protocols

▪️ Methods for adjusting laser parameters based on the pathology and patient profile

This practical experience was essential, providing confidence and useful skills for effectively integrating laser therapy into everyday medical practice.

International Congress: Research and Innovation in Medical Laser Therapy

The international congress brought together specialists from all over the world and provided a valuable platform for presenting the latest research and clinical applications in the field of medical lasers. The program included:

▪️ Lectures delivered by international experts

▪️ Scientific presentations in areas such as dermatologyrehabilitationdentistryneurology, and sports medicine

▪️ Live demonstrations and interactive Q&A sessions

Meeting with leaders ISLA: Dr. Michael Weber (right in top image) and Prof. Dr. Gerhard Litscher

A special moment of the event was the participation of Dr. Michael Hans WeberPresident of ISLA – International Society for Medical Laser Applications, a prominent figure in the field of medical laser therapy worldwide. It was an honor and a privilege to meet him in person and attend his presentations, which highlighted both the depth of his scientific knowledge and his strong commitment to promoting innovative and complementary therapies in medical practice.

Alongside him was Prof. Dr. Gerhard Litscher (Swiss University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Switzerland), also an ISLA President, whose contributions enriched the scientific perspective of the congress with valuable insights from the field of traditional and integrative medicine.

The presence of these two international leaders added a remarkable academic and professional dimension to the event, reinforcing its role as a reference point in the field of modern medical laser therapy.

Innovations in Regenerative Therapies and Combined Treatments

The congress offered a balanced mix of science and practice: invited speakers presented recent findings and studies on low-level laser therapy (LLLT), followed by applied discussions and hands-on workshops.

Special attention was given to regenerative therapies, particularly those combined with stem cells, as well as transcranialintravenousintra-articular, and interstitial applications. Topics also included the diagnosis and treatment of Covid and Long Covid syndromes.

Pain Management: Laser–PRP–Stem Cell Combinations

One of the workshops focused on pain management, demonstrating how interstitial and intra-articular laser therapycan be enhanced using platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and stem cells. This combination provides effectivesafe, and practical therapeutic solutions.

Networking and Knowledge Exchange with International Experts

The event also included an evening dedicated to networking and experience sharing in a relaxed setting, alongside some of the world’s most respected experts in medical laser technology.

We were also pleased to reconnect with two dear friends and fellow professionals, Dr. Mihaela Orodan and Dr. Adiana Feher.

Photodynamic Therapy and Promising Results

On the final day, the latest results in photodynamic tumor therapy were presented, including scientific explanations and examples of promising treatments applied in clinical practice over recent months.

A Valuable Professional Experience

This experience offered a significant opportunity to enhance knowledge and develop professional connections within the international laser therapy community.

Professional Benefits and Future Perspectives

This participation was not only a valuable professional experience but also a catalyst for our continued development. Key benefits included:

▪️ Updated knowledge on modern non-invasive therapies
▪️ Networking with international experts and exchange of best practices
▪️ Inspiration for developing new therapeutic protocols in daily practice
▪️ Recognition of the importance of complementary approaches in multidisciplinary treatments

Attending this congress reinforced our belief that laser therapy is a fundamental component of regenerative and rehabilitative medicine. We return with motivationadvanced knowledge, and a strong desire to apply these therapeutic tools for the benefit of our patients.

Past Events in the Field of Laser Therapy

In addition to the international event in Germany, we have also actively participated in previous relevant events in the field of medical laser therapy, which have contributed to our ongoing professional development and exchange of best practices among specialists.

LLLT Seminar in Bucharest – Clinical Applications and Protocols

On April 5, a seminar dedicated to low-level laser therapy (LLLT) was held in Bucharest, featuring internationally renowned trainers. The program included:

  • Martin Junggbauer, laser therapy expert, who gave a general introduction to the field

  • Dr. med. Volkmar Kreisel, who presented:

    • The history of laser therapy

    • The mechanisms and clinical applications of transcranial photomodulation

    • The protocols and principles of endovenous and intra-articular laser therapy

  • Dr. med. dipl. chem. Michael Hans Weber, who gave a presentation on photodynamic therapy – theoretical introduction and clinical protocols in use

  • Dr. PhD Matthias Wojcik, who discussed liposomal formulationsphotosensitizers, and their effects in oncological indications

  • practical training session led by Dr. med. Volkmar Kreisel, assisted by Martin Junggbauer and Dr. Iustin Preoteasa

The event provided a solid theoretical and practical foundation, essential for professionals interested in integrating laser therapy into clinical practice and expanding their knowledge in areas such as neurologyoncology, and regenerative medicine.
