Composition: 150 g powder contains: 2.67 g baking soda x H2O; 13.40 g potassium carbonate; 133.93 g sodium citrate.

Characteristics: Alkala N is an excellent base mixture suitable for correcting the acid-base balance of the human body. Acid-base imbalance by increasing acidity is common nowadays due to lifestyle and environmental conditions. Typical symptoms of hyperacidity in the gastrointestinal tract are: burning, acid regurgitation, flatulence, etc. Hypacidity subsequently appears as a typical symptom that accompanies chronic metabolic disorders that can lead to cellular degeneration.

Indications: Alkalinization, gastric and duodenal acidosis, gastric burns, gastritis and ulcers, liver and gallbladder disorders, flatulence, rheumatic, dermatological, respiratory and urogenital tract diseases.

Administration: Drink a teaspoon of powder in a glass of water in the morning. If necessary, the procedure will be repeated in the evening. Do not administer more than 2 tablespoons on top in 24 hours.

Contraindications: Gastric anacidity.

Side effects: Not known. Interactions: Absorption and excretion of acids and weak bases may be influenced by high pH in the stomach and urine. Functional interactions are possible with gluco- and mineralocorticoids, androgens, and diuretics that increase potassium excretion.

Side effects: Frequent nausea and belching. Prolonged use promotes kidney stones (calcium and magnesium phosphates).

Precautions: Only with the doctor's recommendation for children, pregnant or breastfeeding women. Due to the risk of perforation, Alkala N should not be used in case of heartburn.
