Contraindications for Ventolin infusions/injections

Ventolin injections are not recommended in the following cases:

Allergy to salbutamol or any of the excipients: Patients with hypersensitivity to this drug should not use Ventolin injections.
Severe heart disease: Salbutamol can cause side effects on the heart, such as tachycardia or arrhythmias, so it is contraindicated in cases of severe heart failure.
Severe hypertension: Patients with high blood pressure or a history of hypertension may be at higher risk of cardiovascular side effects.
Patients with hypokalemia: The use of Ventolin may worsen conditions of potassium deficiency in the blood.
Pregnancy and lactation: Although it can be administered in certain conditions, Ventolin should be used with caution during pregnancy and lactation, only on the recommendation of a doctor.
